Dead Island 2 PAX East Activation
For the second release of the cult favorite video game Dead Island, Plaion Inc. wanted to engage the crowd at PAX East and make things a little…hellish.
What we did
Standing out in a sea brands at a trade show isn’t easy. Creating an activation that also engages consumers while mimicking the brand adds a further layer to the challenge. Enter NRG.
Our team worked with Plaion to understand their goals and expectations diving head first into the overall brand to bring elements of Dead Island 2 to life. Set in the zombified beaches of Los Angeles, we transported the ever-famous Santa Monica Pier carnival straight to Boston with a few deadly twists.
The mission was complete as guests lined up throughout the convention center to play the traditional Americana carnival games hosted by real life zombie carnies. With photo ops and winnable prizes, the crowd couldn’t get enough. From coast to coast, everyone was able to experience and barely survive HELL-A!
