The North Face Mountain Athletics
Thanks to The North Face and NRG’s strength in mobile marketing campaigns, guests were able to reach their fitness goals and look good while doing it, too.
What we did
It’s time to take your snazzy new athletic gear for spin. The North Face hired NRG to develop a goal-based, social fitness program for outdoor enthusiasts to continue growth and positive brand sentiments in an active community. Together with The North Face, NRG developed performance standards, identified trainers and implemented the program in five cities: Boston, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. At biweekly events coordinated centrally by NRG, participants train together and reach their individual goals.
By 2015, Mountain Athletics had over 4,000 participants and continues to grow. The program has fostered powerful connections-- between its participants and with The North Face brand.
