Ever kissed in the rain? Seattle would like you to try. With the help of an NRG experiential marketing tour, scores of people now understand why.

What We Did

Don’t count out Seattle in the fall and winter! To pique interest in tourism to the city and garner media attention, we worked with our partners Copacino Fujikado, C+C, and Visit Seattle to show the romance that’s possible in the Emerald City, even in its infamous drizzle.

We took on the project and conceptualized a fully sustainable rain booth that brought movie magic and a delightful contrast to the warmer climates of Scottsdale, AZ and Venice, CA. Guests and passersbys were invited inside to share a kiss and the resulting photo with their social media followers.

Custom Photos Created for the Share-Worthy Experience

To keep it green, we constructed a 17’ x 16’ wood structure that captured the water and pumped it for reuse. Rain fell on either side of a waterless middle space, giving guests the option to take the plunge or stay dry. After, visitors could choose from three overlay options to further make their pic their own, while hotspots provided additional marketing opportunities. Aside from an enviable photo op, guests gained tempting vacation inspiration. As for Visit Seattle, they gained excellent user data to drive further engagement, 81 pieces of media coverage and a combined 167MM+ earned media impressions.
